Cleaning and tending a tree wound in Marietta Ga

 

When a tree bark gets wounded, it is a good idea to prune and tend the wound.

A lot of times heavy equipment like bobcats and excavators can bang into trees.

The wounds should be properly treated.

If they are, many times they can seal off and compartmentalize the damage.

An I.S.A. Certified Arborist can be helpful to assess the damage.

Be really careful!  A lot of times tree salesmen will try to blow a small wound out of proportion in order to get a sale.  (Commisioned-based salesmen vs tree health care pose a clear conflict of interest).
